I took part in a culinary battle with Quixote, where we compared the cuisines of two nations — in a friendly, but fiery exchange.
⠀
🇲🇩 I proudly represented Moldovan cuisine: ciorbă, mămăligă, plăcinte (vertuta), sarmale, meatballs, and of course, homemade wine.
⠀
🇺🇦 Quixote stood for the Ukrainian side — borscht, varenyky, deruny, stuffed cabbage rolls, salo, and uzvar.
⠀
We spoke not only about taste, but about tradition, culture, health, and the food we grew up with.
⠀
In the end, we agreed on one simple truth:
Everything is tasty and healthy — in moderation.
